In the 4th minute, Vânderson Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. péép's José Carlos Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Soares in the 6th minute of play. Diego Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Carlos Porto came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Frecheiras FC's Vânderson Félix. But to his dismay, Vânderson Félix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adrianinho Peixoto hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. During the 24th minute of the match Diego Silveira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Diego Silveira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 24 played minutes péép got a freekick which was hit by Diego Silveira. José Carlos Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Soares in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to péép getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hugo Furtado hit a great ball. José Carlos Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruninho Soares's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Bruninho Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Porto having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Frecheiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Lira to maneuver through the defense. Christian Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes Frecheiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Ademir de Queirós. The péép players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Frecheiras FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vânderson Félix made a kick off. José Carlos Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Félix in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to péép getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hugo Furtado hit a great ball. José Carlos Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vânderson Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Frecheiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. péép's Christian Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vânderson Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vânderson Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Christian Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. péép's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeu Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruninho Soares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Carlos Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Christian Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The péép fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
