Ramiro Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramiro Maciel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Dietrichz FC's Vito Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Ramiro Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gláuber Figueiredo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bebeto Queirós came out and tried to block the shot, but Gláuber Figueiredo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. The supporters of Urbro booed when Dietrichz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Dietrichz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Neiva came free, but Valdomiro Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glauco Soeiro's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Valdomiro Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdomiro Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Bruno Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Bruno Neiva notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dietrichz FC's Valdomiro Berger. Valdomiro Berger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Bebeto Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Figueiredo in the 53rd minute of play. After 58 played minutes Urbro got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Maciel. If Gláuber Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glauco Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Valdomiro Berger made a huge save. Glauco Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Valdomiro Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Bruno Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urbro's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdomiro Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Dietrichz FC's Valdomiro Berger got control of the ball when Glauco Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Glauco Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glauco Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateus Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Berger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateus Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Dietrichz FC's Sebastião Ferraz got a free kick in the 86th minute. Urbro's Paulo Paraense shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Valdomiro Berger but with some difficulty. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dietrichz FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glauco Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Berger having to interfere. Gláuber Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
