Meriti's Raúl Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Dantas in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Meriti's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Reis came free, but Raúl Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Prestes having to interfere. Raúl Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Baiano in the 20th minute of play. Armando Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Raúl Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Meriti's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Baiano came free, but Raúl Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Meriti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Bastos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Meriti's zone, Hudson Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raúl Prestes came out of the goal and Hudson Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raúl Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Dantas in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes of play, Camboriu FC's Andrézinho Bittencourt made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raúl Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raúl Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Reis's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Raúl Prestes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renan Dantas went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

Raúl Prestes made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Armando Baiano sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Luan Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Armando Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vânderson Ortiz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, one of Meriti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Meriti. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Camboriu FC. Edvaldo Brito stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raúl Prestes. 0-4. Meriti's Raúl Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Meriti from getting a goal against them. If Armando Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Camboriu FC's Armando Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raúl Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Camboriu FC's Edvaldo Brito got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute of the match Vitório dos Santos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélio Dias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hélio Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raúl Prestes came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Camboriu FC's Felipe Reis. But to his dismay, Felipe Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Raúl Prestes made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Armando Baiano sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Camboriu FC's Renan Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raúl Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meriti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camboriu FC the free kick. Sílvio Luís Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Felipe Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camboriu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
