Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) péép's Hugo Furtado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, péép's Diego Silveira got a free kick in the 3rd minute. péép's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Betão Marinho scored to the left of an out of position José Carlos Porto, making the score, 1-0. Hugo Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A hard shot 8 in the game by Miguel Damião from a close distance when the talented José Carlos Porto managed to make a qualified save. péép's players were relieved. Christian Moura struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. João Carlos Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for péép. Zé Roberto Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, péép's Adrianinho Peixoto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 24 minutes, William Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Comando Máfia Azul and the péép players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, William Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Hugo Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. João Carlos Donatello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Carlos Porto was a little too slow when Betão Marinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Miguel Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Miguel Damião sped through péép's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Carlos Porto. Christian Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Carlos Donatello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betão Marinho made a kick off. Miguel Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Betão Marinho in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. José Carlos Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Damião in the 56th minute of play. Christian Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. João Carlos Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hugo Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Miguel Damião came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Comando Máfia Azul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Damião couldn't finish the play. If Betão Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betão Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Carlos Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Marinho in the 77th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Comando Máfia Azul's Miguel Damião nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carlos Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Comando Máfia Azul fans cheered their team off the field, for while péép had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
