The referee ignored Urbro's protests and gave Glauco Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Urbro got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Soeiro. Bebeto Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Paulo Andrade's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Bruno Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato da Costa made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Glauco Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute, Urbro's Bruno Neiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Glauco Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urbro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glauco Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Guaraniuva's Alfredão Gomes got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Guaraniuva's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Germano Palmeira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 21st minute of the match Paulo Paraense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato da Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Donato da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guaraniuva's Bernardo Loyola got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Bruno Neiva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Donato da Costa, passed just outside the right post. Bruno Neiva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guaraniuva's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 52 minutes into the match, Guaraniuva's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Neiva came free, but Donato da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Alfredão Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Glauco Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Neiva in the 55th minute of play forced Guaraniuva's goalkeeper Donato da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaraniuva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a little luck, Urbro's Bebeto Queirós got control of the ball when José Paulo Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Guaraniuva booed when Urbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iuri Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Neiva in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato da Costa saved Guaraniuva from getting behind. Bruno Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato da Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramiro Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Donato da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Bruno Neiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Palmeira in the 93rd minute of play forced Guaraniuva's goalkeeper Donato da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bebeto Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guaraniuva players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Urbro.
