A collision led to péép getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Douglas Botelho hit a great ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Pedrão Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but péép's José Carlos Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Carlos Porto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedrão Loyola showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in péép's zone, Pedrão Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Carlos Porto came out of the goal and Pedrão Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Prestes having to interfere. When Christian Moura came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the péép fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Moura couldn't finish the play.

Luan Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luan Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luan Domingues hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Angelo Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. José Carlos Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça in the 84th minute of play forced péép's goalkeeper José Carlos Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. péép's José Carlos Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Domingues in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Meriti getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Didi da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, péép was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Moura to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Meriti had won after a very even match.
