Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iuri Reis started the match with the kick off. José Paulo Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Hélio Dias made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Armando Baiano put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Donato da Costa. José Paulo Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hélio Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Renan Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato da Costa came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Camboriu FC's Armando Baiano. But to his dismay, Armando Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Donato da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Renan Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camboriu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Renan Dantas notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Guaraniuva's Donato da Costa. Donato da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Reis in the 29th minute of play forced Camboriu FC's goalkeeper Hélio Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Baiano in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Renan Dantas notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Guaraniuva's Donato da Costa. Donato da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 38 minutes of play, Camboriu FC's Hudson Palmeira made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Camboriu FC's Armando Baiano in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guaraniuva's goalie prevented a goal. After 45 played minutes Camboriu FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Aguiar. Guaraniuva's Donato da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Baiano in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Baiano was the one to do the kick off. Guaraniuva's Donato da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Guaraniuva from getting a goal against them. José Paulo Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Baiano got free with Donato da Costa in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Baiano in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donato da Costa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 61 played minutes Guaraniuva got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Prestes. Donato da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Reis in the 66th minute of play forced Camboriu FC's goalkeeper Hélio Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Reis in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Wilian Tasso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélio Dias skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Baiano got free with Donato da Costa in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donato da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Reis in the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Armando Baiano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donato da Costa, 0-8. In the 79th minute of the match, Armando Baiano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Donato da Costa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Donato da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrézinho Bittencourt in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Camboriu FC's zone, Iuri Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélio Dias came out of the goal and Iuri Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Guaraniuva's goalkeeper Donato da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Baiano. 89 minutes into the match, Guaraniuva's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Dantas came free, but Donato da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Camboriu FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guaraniuva throughout the match.
