The referee ignored Urbro's protests and gave Orlando Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Orlando Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the game, Mateus Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urbro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comando Máfia Azul the free kick. Mateus Lopes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Comando Máfia Azul's Sílvio Luís Oliveira tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Miguel Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Glauco Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of João Carlos Donatello. Comando Máfia Azul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Glauco Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Carlos Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Neiva in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Urbro's Glauco Soeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Carlos Donatello. João Carlos Donatello yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Glauco Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germano Palmeira's late challenge caught a Comando Máfia Azul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germano Palmeira helped the player get up and apologised. Germano Palmeira hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. João Carlos Donatello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Neiva's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. João Carlos Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Neiva in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Ramiro Maciel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urbro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comando Máfia Azul the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Urbro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Maciel to maneuver through the defense. After 50 minutes Urbro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sílvio Luís Oliveira who took care of the corner kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betão Marinho made a kick off. In the 64th minute Bruno Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbro's Germano Palmeira got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Germano Palmeira off the ground. After a rather tough play, Urbro's Germano Palmeira got a free kick in the 70th minute. Betão Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bebeto Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match Sílvio Luís Oliveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bebeto Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Carlos Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glauco Soeiro scored 4-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Carlos Donatello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glauco Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 96 played minutes, Urbro's Paulo Paraense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Carlos Donatello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Urbro reached it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Urbro had won after a very even match.
