Raúl Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Soares in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Soares in the 73rd minute of play forced Meriti's goalkeeper Raúl Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Vânderson Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadeu Rezende. Luiz Guilherme de Mendonça showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 99 minutes into the match, Frecheiras FC's Bruninho Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raúl Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
