Diversus F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamílton Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Pereira in the 14th minute of the match. Ademar Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Vitório Varela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur de Lima was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Jean Bertassi hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Arthur de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diversus F.C.. If Vitório Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 played minutes Armando Pereira rounded Diversus F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vitório Varela made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Tabuleiro MIX's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alfredinho de Barros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A nice corner shot did that Rodrigo Nunes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hamílton Vander quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Juninho Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Pereira in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamílton Vander saved Diversus F.C. from getting behind. Hamílton Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Pereira's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Diversus F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armando Pereira came free, but Hamílton Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Tostão Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Ademar Trigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabuleiro MIX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diversus F.C. the free kick. Ademar Trigo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Armando Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Hamílton Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th match minute, Tabuleiro MIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho de Barros in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arthur de Lima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Vitório Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tostão Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Tabuleiro MIX's Arthur de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Tabuleiro MIX from getting a goal against them. Diversus F.C.'s Hamílton Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Trigo in the 98th minute of play. Tabuleiro MIX's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
