The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maurinho Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arthur de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Armando Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calcoene's Dorival Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Calcoene's zone, Armando Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Novaes came out of the goal and Armando Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Calcoene got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Queiroz. After 27 played minutes Tabuleiro MIX got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Gonçalves. Ademar Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dorival Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur de Lima came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Calcoene's Maurinho Lago. But to his dismay, Maurinho Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tabuleiro MIX's Armando Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ademar Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the game, Jean Bertassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabuleiro MIX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calcoene the free kick. A collision led to Tabuleiro MIX getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jean Bertassi hit a great ball. Armando Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Novaes having to interfere. Calcoene's Dorival Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Pereira in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Ademar Trigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dorival Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calcoene's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Armando Pereira scored to the left of an out of position Dorival Novaes, making the score, 1-2. Ademar Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Novaes having to interfere. If Ademar Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Calcoene's zone, Ademar Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Novaes came out of the goal and Ademar Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the game, Armando Pereira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dorival Novaes. Armando Pereira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 90 minutes in the game, Armando Pereira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dorival Novaes having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Armando Pereira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorival Novaes. The goal made the score 1-5. Tabuleiro MIX's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
