Spectators: 7005 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) After some careless play in the Chalet defense, Adhemar Tasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Maia. The Chalet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Maia should have stopped the shot. Patrick Simões took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeu Novaes. PlayArt FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olívio de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 20 played minutes PlayArt FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Costa. Romeu Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Carlos Augusto Andrade hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Natanael Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adhemar Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adhemar Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. Chalet's Carlos Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Chalet from getting a goal against them. After 47 played minutes Chalet got a freekick which was hit by William Baiano.

Romeu Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio de Godoi in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Wilson Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PlayArt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Wilson Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Maia having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Chalet's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Alvarenga came free, but Carlos Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilson Alvarenga went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in PlayArt FC's zone, Olívio de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Novaes came out of the goal and Olívio de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adhemar Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Carlos Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olívio de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natanael Custódio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romeu Novaes came out and tried to block the shot, but Natanael Custódio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PlayArt FC had played much better football throughout.
