With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enio de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Curicica were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Víktor Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio de Almeida having to interfere. Enio de Almeida came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Curicica's Walmyr Travassos. But to his dismay, Walmyr Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 64 minutes into the match, BarSemLona Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Alcântara came free, but Enio de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Gabriel Paes in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 75th minute, Walmyr Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
