An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Oliveira in the 29th minute of play forced Chalupa FC's goalkeeper Wakil Mammar Chaouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Falcão da Silva in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Paraíba saved Brochier from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Falcão da Silva made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Paraíba. Brochier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Falcão da Silva had several of the Brochier's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 48 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Norberto Paraíba as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emerson Lucas made a kick off. Brochier's Júlio Oliveira got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Júlio Oliveira off the ground. A collision led to Brochier getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Júlio Oliveira hit a great ball. Norberto Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Brochier's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão da Silva came free, but Norberto Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Marcelo Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chalupa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute Falcão da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Paraíba having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falcão da Silva couldn't finish the play. Osvaldinho Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Chalupa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldinho Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Brochier defense, Falcão da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Paraíba. The Brochier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Paraíba should have stopped the shot. If Falcão da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falcão da Silva's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
