Spectators: 7022 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yuri Aparecido took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC Leões's Claudinho Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinho Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Novaes having to interfere. Claudinho Neves took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeu Novaes. Romeu Novaes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Claudinho Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Romeu Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yuri Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Novaes having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Vitório Alvarenga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Leões's Vitório Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Alvarenga in the 27th minute of play. Vitório Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Alvarenga in the 29th minute of play. Claudinho Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Claudinho Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yuri Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The PlayArt FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Leões were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilson Alvarenga made a kick off. Claudinho Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Romeu Novaes made a huge save. Yuri Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeu Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Aparecido in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, FC Leões's Romeu Novaes threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yuri Aparecido, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Aparecido in the 73rd minute of play forced PlayArt FC's goalkeeper Romeu Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 75 in the game by Claudinho Neves from a close distance when the talented Romeu Novaes managed to make a qualified save. PlayArt FC's players were relieved. Yuri Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Novaes having to interfere. Nilmar Nogueira hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Tasso in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Leões's goalkeeper Vitório Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Guilherme Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Guilherme Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Guilherme Barral hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Romeu Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Aparecido in the 85th minute of the match. Adhemar Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vitório Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, PlayArt FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudinho Neves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Aparecido in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinho Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over FC Leões could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PlayArt FC throughout the match.
