Romeu Novaes came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PlayArt FC's Romeu Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save PlayArt FC from getting a goal against them. Tiago Gabriel Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Romeu Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Adhemar Tasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enio de Almeida was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Paes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romeu Novaes. Tiago Gabriel Paes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Enio de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Tasso in the 27th minute of play. Enio de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BarSemLona Futebol Clube's Tiago Gabriel Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of BarSemLona Futebol Clube booed when PlayArt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Romeu Novaes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Enio de Almeida came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by PlayArt FC's Adhemar Tasso. But to his dismay, Adhemar Tasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Custódio got free with Romeu Novaes in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Alvarenga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romeu Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, PlayArt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Custódio came free, but Romeu Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeu Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Paes in the 58th minute of the match. PlayArt FC's Gilson Cearense shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Enio de Almeida but with some difficulty. Enio de Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adhemar Tasso in the 62nd minute. Tiago Gabriel Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Novaes having to interfere. Gilson Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Diamantino Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the BarSemLona Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Custódio couldn't finish the play. Romeu Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Paes in the 74th minute of play. Diamantino Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, PlayArt FC's Isaltino Costa got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a little luck, BarSemLona Futebol Clube's Enio de Almeida got control of the ball when Adhemar Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipe do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PlayArt FC booed when BarSemLona Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, BarSemLona Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Enio de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adhemar Tasso. Romeu Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diamantino Custódio went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, PlayArt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Paes came free, but Romeu Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the PlayArt FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BarSemLona Futebol Clube.
