Rony Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domenico Patout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Laerte Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rony Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laerte Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Dráuzio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Patout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte Moreira struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Rony Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCSB São Bernado SP. Rony Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Dragão do Norte FC defense, Laerte Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rony Santos. The Dragão do Norte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rony Santos should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Dragão do Norte FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tiaguinho Lara hit a great ball. Décio Neves scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domenico Patout, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Marques in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Patout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Moreira in the 84th minute of play forced Dragão do Norte FC's goalkeeper Rony Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Jorginho Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCSB São Bernado SP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvaldo Simão during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dragão do Norte FC booed when FCSB São Bernado SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball.
