José Augusto Sena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Cléberson Aguiar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lenílson Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Aguiar having to interfere. A collision led to Sorocaba getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Roberto Silva hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, José Augusto Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lenílson Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cléberson Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. When Conrado de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorocaba's protests and gave Conrado de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 38 minutes, José Augusto Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cléberson Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. BOLINHO FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
