Ernesto Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas de Carvalho in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, João Adolfo Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ademir Vergílio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Brito having to make a save. Frederico Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Brito having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Ademir Vergílio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ernesto Brito. After 20 played minutes Toledos got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Abraão. Emílio Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademir Vergílio had several of the Toledos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Ernesto Brito as he didn't even see the shot coming. 43 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís Fernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andercta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toledos the free kick. In the 48th minute, Adrianinho Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ademir Vergílio to strike the kick off in the second half. João Adolfo Mineiro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ademir Vergílio struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ernesto Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andercta FC. 62 minutes into the match, Jarbas de Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Brito. Toledos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarbas de Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Ademir Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ernesto Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Toledos's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Neiva came free, but Ernesto Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ademir Vergílio's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Jaime Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jarbas de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Brito came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Andercta FC's Luan Dantas. But to his dismay, Luan Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jaime Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ademir Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Brito having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Andercta FC fully deserved thier win.
