In the 7th match minute, BOLINHO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Sena to maneuver through the defense. Ivo Carvalho came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Andercta FC's Jarbas de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Jarbas de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. José Augusto Sena took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Paraibano. Emílio Paraibano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, BOLINHO FC's Sílvio Luís Recife got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Lenílson Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Emílio Paraibano. Andercta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 27thth minute of the game Ademir Vergílio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BOLINHO FC's Ivo Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute Ademir Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andercta FC's Emílio Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Godoi in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, BOLINHO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Eger to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of BOLINHO FC booed when Andercta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Sílvio Luís Recife left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOLINHO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Augusto Sena was the one to do the kick off. Ivo Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas de Carvalho in the 59th minute of play. Ademir Vergílio might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivo Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademir Vergílio ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Andercta FC's Adrianinho Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivo Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivo Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Paranaense in the 73rd minute of play forced BOLINHO FC's goalkeeper Ivo Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Andercta FC booed when BOLINHO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Luan Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. José Augusto Sena struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Emílio Paraibano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOLINHO FC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BOLINHO FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
