In the 18th minute, Samuca Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorginho Prata was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pedro Luiz Donato made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Léo de Souza sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuca Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Lino Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dudu Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Gabriel Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Fava10 F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Madureira couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the game, Vânderson Paulista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Lino Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
