Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcos Mesquita kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Jaime Terra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Betão da Fonseca. Jaime Terra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Betão da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Guedes in the 8th minute of play. If Marcos Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Betão da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mavedeve's goalkeeper Betão da Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ernesto Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Mesquita's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Toledos's Ernesto Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Mesquita in the 27th minute of play. Ernesto Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Anderson Guedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toledos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mavedeve the free kick. Anderson Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Mavedeve's Betão da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Terra in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Betão da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jaime Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Torres took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betão da Fonseca. Betão da Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 83rd minute, Toledos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leonardo Tande fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Toledos's Giuseppe Secco got a free kick in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mavedeve's zone, Sérgio Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão da Fonseca came out of the goal and Sérgio Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ernesto Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mavedeve's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
