When Ademir Vergílio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Andercta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademir Vergílio couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, Jarbas de Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jorginho Prata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andercta FC's Ademir Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrianinho Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jorginho Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valente FC's Juninho Faria got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Sílvio Luís Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kléber Paranaense hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Edinho do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademir Vergílio was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademir Vergílio in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorginho Prata saved Valente FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ademir Vergílio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorginho Prata was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Adrianinho Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Andercta FC's Kléber Paranaense got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lino Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Paraibano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 80th minute, Maurício de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valente FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jarbas de Carvalho 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Ademir Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Léo de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valente FC's Jorginho Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Vergílio in the 94th minute of play. Adrianinho Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andercta FC played a much better game than Valente FC and deserved their victory. The Valente FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
