Ulisses Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Saraiva made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ulisses Melo sent off a good shot on target. If Geraldo Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Palmeira placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After the first half Raposo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wágner de Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Ulisses Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. vicentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulisses Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Raposo's zone, Wágner de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Saraiva came out of the goal and Wágner de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wágner de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Raposo got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Fernandez. 66 minutes into the match, Raposo's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner de Andrade came free, but Yuri Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Serginho Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Serginho Sabóia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alex Hoffmann. The goal made the score 0-3. Raposo's Yuri Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Melo in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Raposo's Serginho Sabóia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Hoffmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Raposo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
