With a left leg Victor Cerezo saved ALVINEGRO.LHP from getting behind. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Aníbal Moreno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Velasco in the 13th minute of play forced Tamboata's goalkeeper Giovani Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Pedro Coelho during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tamboata's José Pedro Coelho got a free kick in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Tamboata's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Tinoco came free, but Giovani Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Moreno in the 18th minute of the match. Armando Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Tamboata's goalkeeper Giovani Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademar Nogueira. After a rather tough play, ALVINEGRO.LHP's Betão Domingues got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 39th match minute, ALVINEGRO.LHP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Paulão Mangueira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Tamboata's Fernandinho Recife got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Dida Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aníbal Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ALVINEGRO.LHP's Victor Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Moreno in the 63rd minute of play. Carlos Fernando Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Victor Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flávio Carvalho hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, ALVINEGRO.LHP's Ademar Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovani Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Aníbal Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Fernando Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Cerezo having to make a save. Bernardinho Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Carlos Fernando Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aníbal Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A well placed Carlos Fernando Silveira short distance shot in the 89th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. ALVINEGRO.LHP's Victor Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Moreno in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Armando Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tamboata played a much better game than ALVINEGRO.LHP and deserved their victory. The ALVINEGRO.LHP players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
