Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ademar Campidelis kicked off to start the match. Dedé dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Motta in the 4th minute of the match. Gerson Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé dos Santos having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Pangare got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Mazza. In the 14th minute, Paulo Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Zézinho Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pangare's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Alberto Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Pangare defense, Gerson Motta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dedé dos Santos. The Pangare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dedé dos Santos should have stopped the shot. Zézinho Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Barbosa having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Barbosa was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Paulo Sena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Sena really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After 34 played minutes Pangare got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Cardoso. If Ademar Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Alberto Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Zézinho Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pangare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zézinho Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlético da Colina's Carlos Alberto Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Sena in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some careless play in the Atlético da Colina defense, Antônio Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Alberto Barbosa. The Atlético da Colina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Alberto Barbosa should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Gerson Motta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 61 minutes into the match, Paulo Sena notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Atlético da Colina's Carlos Alberto Barbosa. Carlos Alberto Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dedé dos Santos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Zézinho Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pangare's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 72nd minute of the match, Gerson Motta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dedé dos Santos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Paulo Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Paulo Sena came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Pangare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Sena couldn't finish the play. Gerson Motta struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Dedé dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético da Colina. In the 89th minute Ademar Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Barbosa having to interfere. Pangare were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
