A collision led to Tamboata getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Flávio Carvalho hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, one of Tamboata:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave vicentina a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Osvaldo Palmeira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tamboata's Giovani Correia. 0-1. Osvaldo Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind vicentina's goalkeeper Alex Hoffmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Tamboata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in vicentina's zone, Carlos Fernando Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Hoffmann came out of the goal and Carlos Fernando Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Fernando Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Alex Hoffmann made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, Flávio Carvalho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of vicentina's Alex Hoffmann. Alex Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th match minute, vicentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Nunes to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Tamboata's Laerte Sousa tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
When vicentina's Wágner de Andrade in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tamboata's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Fernando Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alex Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, vicentina's Kiko Rodrigues got a free kick in the 58th minute. A collision led to vicentina getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Aírton Luz hit a great ball. Carlos Fernando Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Ernesto Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamboata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Flávio Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tamboata's protests and gave Flávio Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Tamboata got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Carvalho. 71 minutes into the match, vicentina's Osvaldo Palmeira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses Melo got free with Giovani Correia in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Carlos Fernando Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamboata's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Fernando Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in vicentina's zone, Ernesto Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Hoffmann came out of the goal and Ernesto Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carlos Fernando Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alex Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. vicentina's Alex Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Silveira in the 81st minute of play. José Pedro Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Hoffmann having to interfere. When Ulisses Melo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the vicentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Melo couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute Carlos Fernando Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Silveira in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, José Pedro Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamboata's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Pedro Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tamboata were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
