The tension between the Tocaya EC and the FC DIAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Tocaya EC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Braga. Frédson Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustão Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Tocaya EC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Tocaya EC's Emílio Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joel de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Wanderson Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tocaya EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC DIAS the free kick. 32 minutes into the game, one of Tocaya EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emílio Bueno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Joel de Almeida skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Faustão Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel de Almeida was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Emílio Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Joel de Almeida made a huge save. The supporters of Tocaya EC booed when FC DIAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustão Couto was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes FC DIAS got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Santana. If Faustão Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tocaya EC booed when FC DIAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Tocaya EC's goalkeeper Frédson Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filipe França. Joel de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
