Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aníbal Moreno got the match started through his kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Tamboata got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Loureiro. Carlos Fernando Silveira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Yuri Saraiva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Carlos Fernando Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamboata's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Fernando Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Carlos Fernando Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Tamboata fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 30 minutes, Serginho Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raposo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serginho Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuri Saraiva made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Carlos Fernando Silveira sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Rômulo Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tamboata's Carlos Fernando Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serginho Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. Yuri Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Moreno in the 51st minute of play. Carlos Fernando Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Moreno in the 57th minute of play forced Raposo's goalkeeper Yuri Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aníbal Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Fernando Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Saraiva having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aníbal Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yuri Saraiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Fernando Silveira went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geraldo Pernambucano got free with Giovani Correia in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cássio Paraense hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Tamboata's Aníbal Moreno in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raposo's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Carlos Fernando Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri Saraiva was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Yuri Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Moreno's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Carlos Fernando Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
