In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind EC Raven's goalkeeper Dadá dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Jairo Valadares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dadá dos Santos. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in EC Raven's zone, Jairo Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dadá dos Santos came out of the goal and Jairo Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dadá dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dadá dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Valadares in the 25th minute of play. Jairo Valadares struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Dadá dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©. In the 29th minute, Haroldo Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Donato Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC Raven's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeca Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Matías Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Zeca Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Matías Custódio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Custódio having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Matías Custódio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Leões da Zona Oeste FC © from getting a goal against them. After 60 minutes, Walmir Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leões da Zona Oeste FC © and the EC Raven players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walmir Sanches hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, EC Raven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Walmir Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jairo Valadares sped through EC Raven's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dadá dos Santos. If Walmir Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jairo Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 87th minute, EC Raven's Zeca Nogueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matías Custódio. Matías Custódio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 93rd minute Zeca Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Leões da Zona Oeste FC © players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
