If Raí Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robinho Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo dos Santos in the 7th minute of the match. Robinho Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Recife in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Casagrande FC booed when Ultras E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerônimo Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Anselmo dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Robinho Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo dos Santos succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Jerônimo Mattos might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flávio Batista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerônimo Mattos ran back to his position shaking his head. Raí Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Linares having to interfere. Robinho Linares came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Casagrande FC's Raí Cearense. But to his dismay, Raí Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Robinho Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raí Cearense in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Casagrande FC's goalkeeper Flávio Batista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Ultras E.C's Robinho Linares got control of the ball when Sérgio Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Casagrande FC booed when Ultras E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho Linares made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Raí Cearense sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Ultras E.C's goalkeeper Robinho Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raí Cearense. Jerônimo Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robinho Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo dos Santos in the 91st minute of play. Sérgio Perez scored 0-6 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robinho Linares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Casagrande FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
