Emanuel Cordeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elói Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Cordeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Hílton Motta hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Elói Cruz made a huge save.
