The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Leões da Zona Oeste FC © got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Valadares. The long shot by Eliézer Galvão in the 5th minute really tested Matías Custódio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Matías Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Cordeiro in the 6th minute of play. When Emanuel Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Prado MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Emanuel Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Cordeiro in the 12th minute of the match. If Walmir Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jairo Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Prado MZC's goalkeeper Délio Prestes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Prado MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Valadares came free, but Délio Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Leonardo Gaspar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Délio Prestes skillfully saved the ball. Délio Prestes came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s Walmir Sanches. But to his dismay, Walmir Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Matías Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prado MZC's Délio Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Valadares in the 34th minute of play. Walmir Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivaldo Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Emanuel Cordeiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Délio Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Sanches in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Valadares to make the kick off. Jairo Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Délio Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir Sanches blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Délio Prestes having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, Prado MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Valadares came free, but Délio Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emanuel Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Valério Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walmir Sanches scored 0-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Délio Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st match minute, Leões da Zona Oeste FC © was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Soares to maneuver through the defense. After 87 played minutes Prado MZC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz de Brito. A collision led to Prado MZC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Régis de Azevedo hit a great ball. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Prado MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonardo Gaspar was slow to take the kick. During this time Leões da Zona Oeste FC ©'s players had a chance to rest. When the final whistle sounded Leões da Zona Oeste FC © left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Prado MZC.
