Spectators: 6883 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anselmo dos Santos took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Casagrande FC defense, Emanuel Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flávio Batista. The Casagrande FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flávio Batista should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Anselmo dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Délio Prestes. Prado MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Prado MZC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz de Brito hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Raí Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Délio Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Prado MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo dos Santos came free, but Délio Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Régis de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prado MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casagrande FC the free kick. In the 21st minute, Régis de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raí Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Délio Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raí Cearense in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Délio Prestes saved Prado MZC from getting behind. Délio Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Cearense in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Raí Cearense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prado MZC's Délio Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo dos Santos in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Prado MZC defense, Raí Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Délio Prestes. The Prado MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Délio Prestes should have stopped the shot. After the first half Casagrande FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Cordeiro made a kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Prado MZC's goalkeeper Délio Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raí Cearense. Prado MZC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Anselmo dos Santos scored to the left of an out of position Délio Prestes, making the score, 1-5. Casagrande FC's Raí Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Délio Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo dos Santos in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Marcos Recife suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Régis de Azevedo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Luís Eduardo Nunes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Délio Prestes, 1-6. Casagrande FC's Raí Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flávio Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Albuquerque in the 87th minute of play. Raí Cearense struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Délio Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casagrande FC. Raí Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Prestes having to interfere. With a little luck, Prado MZC's Délio Prestes got control of the ball when Raí Cearense tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Casagrande FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Casagrande FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
