EC Raven's Zeca Nogueira pulled a muscle in his leg after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ivo Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Bernardinho Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Anselmo de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the game, EC Raven's Donato Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robinho Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Robinho Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Lira in the 20th minute. Ultras E.C's Robinho Linares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ultras E.C from getting a goal against them. If Donato Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Jerônimo Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerônimo Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dadá dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerônimo Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá dos Santos having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Jerônimo Mattos made a precise shot to the right of Dadá dos Santos. EC Raven's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cássio Negri came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ultras E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Negri couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, EC Raven's goalkeeper Dadá dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo Mattos. Robinho Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Lira in the 64th minute of play. Robinho Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Donato Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Donato Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, EC Raven's Dadá dos Santos got control of the ball when Osvaldinho Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ultras E.C getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Cássio Negri hit a great ball. The supporters of EC Raven booed when Ultras E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jerônimo Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dadá dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Aparecido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dadá dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerônimo Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá dos Santos having to interfere. Jerônimo Mattos struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Dadá dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ultras E.C. Donato Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ultras E.C played a much better game than EC Raven and deserved their victory. The EC Raven players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
