Spectators: 7031 (Terracing: 5389, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juarês Silveira kicked off to start the match. In the 7th match minute, E.C.Prospera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Montese FC's Tomé Fernandes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for E.C.Prospera. Cido Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Haroldo Cabral hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14thth minute of the game Wilian Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montese FC's Osvaldo Meirelles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Montese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Pires came free, but Osvaldo Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, E.C.Prospera's goalkeeper Eusébio Paes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Tepedino. In the 23rd minute Juarês Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juarês Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juarês Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eusébio Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juarês Silveira in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cipriano Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Paes having to interfere. If Juarês Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilian Pires in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Meirelles saved Montese FC from getting behind. The supporters of Montese FC booed when E.C.Prospera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusébio Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cido Massa to make the kick off. Eusébio Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Silveira in the 55th minute of play. Juarês Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Montese FC's Juarês Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Paes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Montese FC's Cipriano Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Cipriano Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusébio Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Wilian Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Meirelles having to interfere. Wilian Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Meirelles made a huge save. E.C.Prospera's Wilian Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Cipriano Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
