Wilian Mendes guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Betinho Custódio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Satoshi Team's zone, Breno Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Alvarenga came out of the goal and Breno Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SANTOS FOTTEBOL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Raúl Cardozo scored to the left of an out of position Wilian Mendes, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betinho Custódio in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquinhos Alvarenga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Douglas Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Mendes having to interfere. If Raúl Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SANTOS FOTTEBOL getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Giuseppe Gomes hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Satoshi Team got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Mattos. Raúl Cardozo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Betinho Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Mendes made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Douglas Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raúl Cardozo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tadeu Dantas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Raúl Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Mendes having to interfere. When Betinho Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the SANTOS FOTTEBOL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betinho Custódio couldn't finish the play. Marquinhos Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Simão in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Douglas Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilian Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tadeu Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Wilian Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Murillo Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Simão in the 85th minute of play forced Satoshi Team's goalkeeper Marquinhos Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Breno Simão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marquinhos Alvarenga was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 89th match minute, Satoshi Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Breno Simão was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. SANTOS FOTTEBOL's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
