Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SANTOS FOTTEBOL's Breno Simão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. E.C.Prospera's Eusébio Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Simão in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Cido Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilian Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Alex Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SANTOS FOTTEBOL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.C.Prospera the free kick. Afonso Silva, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Breno Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Paes having to interfere. If Cido Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Mendes having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Breno Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Pires in the 25th minute of play forced SANTOS FOTTEBOL's goalkeeper Wilian Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Mendes having to interfere. Wilian Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SANTOS FOTTEBOL getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Giuseppe Gomes hit a great ball. E.C.Prospera's Wilian Pires managed to work through SANTOS FOTTEBOL's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Wilian Pires dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 36 minutes of play, E.C.Prospera's Cido Massa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilian Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Breno Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cido Massa to strike the kick off in the second half. Eusébio Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilian Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Wilian Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Breno Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTOS FOTTEBOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Betinho Custódio struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Eusébio Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SANTOS FOTTEBOL. Eusébio Paes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Breno Simão's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Simão in the 74th minute of play forced E.C.Prospera's goalkeeper Eusébio Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Cido Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C.Prospera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The SANTOS FOTTEBOL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. E.C.Prospera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
