Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yuri Lira started the match with the kick off. Breno Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio de Andrade's late challenge caught a Bandecones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovânio de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 minutes of play, Bandecones FC's Yuri Lira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilian Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yuri Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Wilian Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yuri Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilian Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bruno Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SANTOS FOTTEBOL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Veiga couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Breno Simão made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Bandecones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Negara to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Betinho Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTOS FOTTEBOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Betinho Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Transito Lentoft breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yuri Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Mendes having to interfere. Yuri Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Garrincha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Mendes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Yuri Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandecones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilian Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the SANTOS FOTTEBOL defense, Carlos Augusto Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilian Mendes. The SANTOS FOTTEBOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilian Mendes should have stopped the shot.
