An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Coutinho in the 4th minute of play forced DinGol Brazil MZC's goalkeeper Delfim Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Carlos Leme notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of DinGol Brazil MZC's Delfim Cunha. Delfim Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cássio Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfredo Cunha during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, BNU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Cunha to maneuver through the defense. DinGol Brazil MZC's Geovânio Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willian de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BNU FC's Willian de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save BNU FC from getting a goal against them. Delfim Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Leme in the 27th minute of play. If Carlos Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, DinGol Brazil MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Régis de Queiroz came free, but Delfim Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in DinGol Brazil MZC's zone, Régis de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Cunha came out of the goal and Régis de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The DinGol Brazil MZC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BNU FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Régis de Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. When Leonardo Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DinGol Brazil MZC's protests and gave Leonardo Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Carlos Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BNU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delfim Cunha came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by BNU FC's Carlos Leme. But to his dismay, Carlos Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Régis de Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Régis de Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Leme in the 69th minute of play forced BNU FC's goalkeeper Willian de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Régis de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Leme in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Delfim Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 87th match minute, DinGol Brazil MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. When Nando Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DinGol Brazil MZC's protests and gave Nando Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Régis de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BNU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BNU FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
