After a defensive mix-up in Chaveando's zone, Hugo Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Salles came out of the goal and Hugo Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Carlos Eduardo Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. After 50 minutes of play Chaveando's Carlos Fernando Pinheiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Carlos Fernando Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Hugo Tinoco scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raphael Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Capuaba's Luís Eduardo Amorim couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chaveando. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chaveando players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Capuaba.
