In the 6th minute, Steve Fox fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elder Domingues, passed just outside the right post. If Raí Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, cassio ramos 12's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Fox came free, but Elder Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Steve Fox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elder Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Fox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Fox, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Arnaldo Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elder Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raí Velasco in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, Clube Atlético Trovão's Steve Fox ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elder Domingues. Elder Domingues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Steve Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clube Atlético Trovão's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evandro Massa in the 40th minute. When Raí Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Clube Atlético Trovão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raí Velasco couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute Raí Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Walmir Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Clube Atlético Trovão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. Osvaldinho Donato's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Trovão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldinho Donato helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, cassio ramos 12's Osvaldinho Donato got a free kick in the 61st minute. Elder Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Velasco in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, cassio ramos 12's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Fox came free, but Elder Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder Domingues came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Trovão's Raí Velasco. But to his dismay, Raí Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 75 minutes, Steve Fox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Trovão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Fox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Velasco in the 78th minute of play forced cassio ramos 12's goalkeeper Elder Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steve Fox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Elder Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute Raí Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. cassio ramos 12's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
