In the 19th minute of the match Renan Magalhães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elder Domingues skillfully saved the ball. Joel Carneiro's late challenge caught a Piranhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for cassio ramos 12! 25 minutes into the match, cassio ramos 12's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Pimenta came free, but Elder Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Piranhas's Belmiro Pimenta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elder Domingues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Belmiro Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piranhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Pimenta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belmiro Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Elder Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piranhas. When Piranhas's Dieguinho Félix in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 40th match minute, cassio ramos 12 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Donato to maneuver through the defense. cassio ramos 12's Elder Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Félix in the 41st minute of play. Belmiro Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Elder Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piranhas's Belmiro Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Osvaldinho Donato made the kick off in the second half. Belmiro Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dieguinho Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Elder Domingues made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Belmiro Pimenta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elder Domingues, passed just outside the right post. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind cassio ramos 12's goalkeeper Elder Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 played minutes cassio ramos 12 got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Alvarenga. Belmiro Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Penha having to interfere. Belmiro Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Elder Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belmiro Pimenta in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder Domingues saved cassio ramos 12 from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Belmiro Pimenta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Domingues was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Elder Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Dieguinho Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elder Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieguinho Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. cassio ramos 12's Arnaldo Alvarenga got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Arnaldo Alvarenga off the ground. In the 91st minute, Arnaldo Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Piranhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. If Dieguinho Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piranhas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
