Durval Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Vargas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Travassos in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho Vargas saved Caldeirão Paranense F C from getting behind. Mateus Cunha struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Miguel Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldeirão Paranense F C. Carlos Fernandes's late challenge caught a Caldeirão Paranense F C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Caldeirão Paranense F C booed when Gravatahy SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mateus Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite this Miguel Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Caldeirão Paranense F C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
