Cafu Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Miranda in the 12th minute of the match. Elói Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iguaçu Football Club's Enéas Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Macedo in the 16th minute of play. Walmyr Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walmyr Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Massa having to interfere. Elói Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iguaçu Football Club's goalkeeper Enéas Tróia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cafu Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Vitório Miranda made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Miranda in the 54th minute of play forced Illuminati FC's goalkeeper Cafu Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maurício Rezende fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Illuminati FC's protests and gave Maurício Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. 60 minutes in the game, Walmyr Amorim dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Illuminati FC's Cafu Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Miranda in the 66th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Iguaçu Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Illuminati FC a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nilton Oliveira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Iguaçu Football Club's Enéas Tróia. 2-0. Cafu Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Miranda in the 83rd minute of play. Illuminati FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vitório Miranda 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. A collision led to Illuminati FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Charles Arósio hit a great ball. Iguaçu Football Club's Luiz Fábio Melo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cafu Massa but with some difficulty. Vitório Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Massa having to interfere.
