Cauã Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Tróia in the 18th minute of play. Geraldo Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Azevedo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Cauã Oliveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Franklin Santana took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio Santana. Virgílio Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ciro Fernandez hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Virgílio Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes The Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Vander. 96 minutes into the match, Carioca's Jarbas Lucas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
