Spectators: 6543 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cícero de Amaral made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Guga Brasil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ca o Du fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Manino's zone, Guga Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duda Arósio came out of the goal and Guga Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Guga Brasil fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Severino Couto hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Manino's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Cícero de Amaral scored to the left of an out of position Duda Arósio, making the score, 2-0. Ca o Du's Cícero de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arlindo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jorginho Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Ca o Du's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Machado came free, but Jorginho Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Barbosa having to interfere. Jorginho Barbosa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Manino's Arlindo Machado. But to his dismay, Arlindo Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Alves was the one to do the kick off. Ca o Du's Jorginho Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Ca o Du from getting a goal against them. Tiago Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Aguiar in the 59th minute of play forced Ca o Du's goalkeeper Jorginho Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Guga Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ca o Du's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Lúcio Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manino's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorginho Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorginho Barbosa was a little too slow when Lúcio Alves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 3-2. Arlindo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Lúcio Alves struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jorginho Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manino. Jorginho Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Alves in the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Manino's Lúcio Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorginho Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Arlindo Machado came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Manino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo Machado couldn't finish the play. Jorginho Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlindo Machado in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Ca o Du's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Machado came free, but Jorginho Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manino may have spent more time on the ball, but Ca o Du were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
