Reynaldo Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Conrado Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SE TICO MIA fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when SE TICO MIA's Reynaldo Carioca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reynaldo Cariocas short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Conrado Novaes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Reynaldo Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SE TICO MIA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
