The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Carioca got free with Conrado Novaes in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Sandrinho da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carnaubal's Conrado Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Carnaubal from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Fernandão Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Betinho do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandão Paraense in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Sandrinho da Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carnaubal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Carnaubal's Conrado Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Carnaubal from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Conrado Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of SE TICO MIA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carnaubal:s goal. If Reynaldo Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betinho do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Correia in the 40th minute of the match. Betinho do Vale came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Carnaubal's Fernandão Paraense. But to his dismay, Fernandão Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The SE TICO MIA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carnaubal were winning 1-2.

In the 51st minute, Carnaubal's Sandrinho da Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 57th minute Reynaldo Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carnaubal's Conrado Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Carioca in the 64th minute of play. SE TICO MIA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sandrinho da Costa 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Betinho do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernandão Paraense in the 73rd minute. Fernandão Paraenses short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Betinho do Vale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eduardo Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Eduardo Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Conrado Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandrinho da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho do Vale having to interfere. If Eduardo Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SE TICO MIA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carnaubal's performance. The match ended with a win for Carnaubal.
