Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Matías Esteves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Matías Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gonçalo Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Panema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Panema's José Carlos Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Toscano in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panema's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afonsinho Alves was slow to take the kick. During this time Lib57 FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Lib57 FC's Afonsinho Alves to fire away a dangerous shot which José Carlos Arósio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Augusto Toscano in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carlos Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 played minutes, Panema's Roberto Dantas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonçalo Albuquerque came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panema reached it. A collision led to Lib57 FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. João Mazza hit a great ball. Matías Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonçalo Albuquerque was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Matías Esteves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matías Esteves really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. José Carlos Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when João Augusto Toscano made the kick off in the second half. When André Peres came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lib57 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Peres couldn't finish the play. Matías Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Albuquerque having to interfere. Gonçalo Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Esteves in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 70th minute Matías Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Esteves in the 72nd minute of play forced Lib57 FC's goalkeeper Gonçalo Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Matías Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Esteves in the 78th minute of the match. When Nelson Tande came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Panema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Tande couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Lib57 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Esteves came free, but Gonçalo Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Matías Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lib57 FC's André Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Matías Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Panema had played much better football throughout.
